Motorola announces the new Edge 30 Fusion with Snapdragon 888+ and 144Hz display

Motorola today announced 3 “new” smartphones for the global market, and among these smartphones we have the Edge 30 Fusion, a very well equipped smartphone that promises to satisfy the needs of the vast majority of users. This smartphone is none other than the Moto S30 Pro that was recently announced in China.

In terms of technical specifications, this Edge 30 Fusion has a 6.55-inch P-OLED screen with FullHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. This 10-bit screen has support for HDR+ and has a maximum brightness of 1100 nits.

Inside, we have Qualcomm’s top-of-the-range chip from 2021, the Snapdragon 888+, which is a very capable processor, and not far behind compared to the current Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. This chip is accompanied by 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage Still inside, we have a 4400mAh battery with support for 68W fast wired charging.

For photography, on the back of the Edge 30 Fusion we have a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 13MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. Supports UHD 4K video recording up to 30fps. For selfies, the device offers a 32MP sensor.

The Edge 30 Fusion has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and among the other features available on the device include the Ready For feature, and IP52 certification.

Finally, but not least, the smartphone leaves the factory with Android 12, and with the promise of receiving 2 major updates to the operating system, that is, it will receive up to Android 14.

The Edge 30 Fusion comes in four colors: Solar Gold, Neptune Blue (with Vegan Leather), Aurora White and Cosmic Gray and costs 599 euros.
