Microsoft adds Key Feature to Windows 11 Task Manager

Microsoft is releasing a new beta version of Windows 11 that has a search bar in the task manager. This will make it easier for users to find a program with a specific problem.
Here is what Microsoft says about this new feature:
We bring process filtering to the task manager. This is the main request from our users to filter/search processes. You can filter using Name, PID or Publisher Name. The filtering algorithm matches the contextual keyword to all possible matches and displays them on the current page. You can also use the keyboard shortcut ALT+F to focus on the filter box. This is a useful feature if you want to isolate a process or a group of processes and take action or just monitor the performance of filtered processes.
Along with the new search and filter functionality, Microsoft is adding the ability to choose between light or dark themes in the task manager. Themes will also be applied to the entire manager, with some updates to its user interface.
In fact, it doesn’t end there, as Microsoft announces the improved efficiency mode in the Windows 11 task manager. This mode is used to set a process with a lower priority or to improve energy efficiency, and it will soon be easier decline confirmation dialog.
These changes are currently available with Windows 11 beta (builds 22621.891 and 22623.891, KB5020040). They will arrive for all users in the coming weeks or months, as at the moment Microsoft does not provide any specific date for this to happen.
