First up is Pixel Journal — Google’s spin on Apple’s Journal app. It uses on-device AI to spark writing ideas, lets you drop in photos, places, and activities, and even adapts prompts based on your past entries. For privacy, you can lock your notes, while the Insights dashboard tracks your writing stats and shows mood emojis tied to each day’s entry.
Next is Writing Tools in Gboard. Beyond proofreading, it can rewrite text to sound more polished, friendly, or detailed. You can also edit by voice, simply by tapping the pencil icon on the keyboard.google pixel
Google also showcased new AI features: real-time translation during calls, Magic Cue to pull info across apps, Gemini Live that highlights objects in your view, and Google Photos editing with text prompts.
