A Study On Healthy Drinks reveals Drinking 2-3 Cups Of Tea Or Coffee Daily Is Beneficial For Health

According to research conducted in the UK, drinking coffee and tea in the right amounts reduces the risk of stroke and dementia.

 

What Is Stroke And Dementia?

 

Stroke is a condition in which there is a sudden interruption in the blood supply to the human brain. Due to this there is a lack of oxygen in the brain. As soon as this problem occurs, brain cells start getting damaged within minutes, due to which a person can have to face from disability to death.

Dementia is a disease in which a person’s memory and thinking ability are reduced. This is called amnesia. It mostly preys on old people.

 

Drinking 2-3 cups of tea or coffee daily is beneficial

 

This research, published in the journal PLOS Medicine, involved more than 3 lakh 65 thousand British citizens. His age was between 50 and 74 years. These people shared their tea and coffee drinking routine with scientists.

 

Research has found that people who drink 2-3 cups of coffee and 2-3 cups of tea daily have a 32% lower risk of stroke. Such people also have a 28% lower risk of dementia. Consumption of these drinks also reduces the risk of amnesia after stroke.

 

Drinking coffee and tea in excess is harmful
