Galaxy Tab Active5 : Samsung’s new tablet that can run without a battery

Samsung has announced a new product, the Galaxy Tab Active5, a rugged tablet that is designed to be used in difficult conditions. The tablet has a number of features that make it ideal for use in industrial, commercial or construction environments.
One of the coolest features of this Galaxy Tab Active5 is its ability to operate without a battery. This means that the tablet can be connected directly to the mains, which can be useful in hot environments or environments that could damage its battery.
Another important feature is its resistance. The tablet is IP68/MIL-STD-810H certified, which means it is resistant to water, dust and impacts. In addition to its robustness, the Galaxy Tab Active5 also has conventional technical specifications.
Thus, the tablet has an 8-inch screen with FullHD resolution and Gorilla Glass 5, 6 or 8GB of RAM, 128 to 256 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD. On the photography side, the tablet has just one sensor with 13, but comes with a fully functional “S-Pen”.
On the software side, the tablet leaves the factory running One UI 6.0, which is its interface based on Android 14.

Despite being officially announced, the South Korean company limited itself to indicating that it will be on sale by the end of January, without revealing an exact date or price.
