Google Bard’s Debut Falls Flat in Convincing Users

In the presentation game, Google Bard was far less convincing than the ChatGPT integration in Bing and Edge. The search giant’s platform presented an incorrect result in its presentation, lack of density, inaccuracy of the calendar, and everyone was left with a clear feeling that everything was rushed, mainly to contradict Microsoft’s announcements.
In fact, this is also what emerges from discussions on Memegen, Google’s internal forum.
“Bard’s launch and layoffs were rushed, sloppy and short-sighted,” said one commentator. Another Google employee chimed in: “Taking Bard into the market in a panic legitimized the market’s concerns about us.” In fact, Google’s stock suffered a small shock to the downside after this keynote, investors not to be fooled by the company’s follower position.
It would be especially interesting to know how far behind Google has actually accumulated in relation to its main competitor. The search engine is indeed the cornerstone of Google’s dominance of the Internet and online services. Any bounce from Bing – here thanks to advanced AI – could bite the Mountain View company’s toes. This situation probably explains Google’s haste, even at the expense of any caution. Such a level of concern within the company is all the more significant as Microsoft is putting its pawns on the preservation of Google, and the search engine market. Knowing that the Redmond company promised ChatGPT integration this year, there’s no doubt that the scam was prepared well in advance, probably unlike Google.
As such, it appears that the company was not prepared to announce the Google Bard, and the result is in plain sight.
