Humanoid Robots to take care of Elder People
Science has gone up a notch in the development of human-like robots i.e. humanoid robots. Britain’s robotics company Engineered Arts has created a humanoid robot that can talk to us. This will do our job. Will be among us and look like a human.
The company’s owner Jackson says – These humanoid robots have cameras in their eyes. We are trying to give them human faces through animation, which can express emotions.
This female robot has been named Ameca. Ameca can’t walk now. Its legs are being prepared, but it is capable of talking to different people. It can become a companion of the elderly, says Jackson. can always be with them. Remind them of things they need, like telling them when it’s time for a show on their favorite TV.
This robot will be able to talk with eyes. Will treat them like a friend. They will never be bored for anything about it. They will also be taught games like chess, but only so much that it is possible to beat them. Many big companies are also getting into the business of humanoid robots.
Elon Musk also made a humanoid robot
Elon Musk inaugurated the Optimus robot on 30 September this year. It could walk, but on wheels. Nothing has been said about its price yet. Elon Musk had said that after mass production, obviously it will not be accessible to the people right now.
Japan is building a robot with a human face
Hiroshi Ishiguro, director of Japan’s Intelligent Robotics Lab, gave the robot his own face. He designed another robot. It was given the face of Japan’s digital minister Kono Taro. These robots will be used in their public meetings. Ishiguro says, people will be able to talk to these robot-like avatars in their own voice. The biggest feature of these robots is that they are safe and will be better in the coming time.
