Why we should keep Carpets Clean
There’s no denying that vacuuming carpets is a chore, but it’s one thing we all do to keep our homes looking and smelling great, right? But not all people do it. A survey conducted by smart home technology expert Proscenic has revealed that about one third of people don’t clean there carpets. Now, it’s possible that households in the US and other parts of the world are more diligent when it comes to such tasks, but the results are surprising, to say the least, especially since there are so many of the best vacuum cleaners out there that are lightweight available, not too difficult to obtain and in fact not difficult at all to use.
Because our rugs can quickly harbor unseen germs as well as more noticeable dirt and germ, keeping floors clean and tidy is especially important if you plan to have children or pets. It should go without saying, but there are a number of risks that come with not cleaning carpet, such as: skin irritation, allergic reactions and even a weakening of the immune system. Probably one reason so many people don’t clean their carpets is that it can take a lot of time and effort, especially if you live in a multi-room, multi-level home.
The best cordless vacuum cleaner is a device that can help here. They are lightweight and can be easily converted into a handheld device for cleaning carpet on the stairs or other areas above the floor. Most of these have a battery life of more than 60 minutes, so you might even have time to clean the house and car when the battery dies. And let’s face it, an hour-long cleaning doesn’t take up too much time in your week. But if you are really pressed for time, you can always have one of the best robot vacuum cleaners running around your house and take care of the housework for you.
However, one of these little buggers will only clean one level of your house at a time, and while getting two is an option, you’ll need two charging stations if you don’t want to move between floors. The survey revealed that 17.8% never clean their hard floors. So it’s good that vacuum cleaners and vacuum robots go well over all floors. And hybrid robotic vacuums that can both mop and vacuum are growing in popularity, so your hard floors get all the attention they deserve without your effort.
