Microsoft Releases November Patch Tuesday for Windows 10 and 11.
Yesterday was the second Tuesday of the month, and that meant it was the day for Microsoft to make Patch Tuesday available for the operating systems it supports, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Let’s start with the latest version of the operating system, Windows 11, which in both its variants (22H2 and 21H2) receives the following updates: Windows 11 22H2 KB5019980 Addresses an issue affecting File Explorer and cannot find folders.
It makes several security enhancements to internal system resources. No other issues have been documented for this release. Windows 10 also gets its dose of updates, versions 21H1, 21H2 and 22H2 get update KB5019959 which is mostly limited to introducing security updates.
As usual, Microsoft also makes available at the same time a list of known issues for the latest versions, which you can see here. Regardless of the version of Windows you have, to update your PC to the latest version available, simply go to Settings -> Windows Update, check for updates and proceed with the download and subsequent installation.
