History of Auto Glass

The history of auto glass manufacturing and auto glass repair service dates back to the early 20th century, when French scientist Eduoard Benedictus developed an innovative windshield design. This discovery led to the development of windshield technology and cheaper windshields for automobiles. Henry Ford was one of the first manufacturers to embrace this new technology and began using it in his cars in the first half of the 20th century. Since then, glass industry experts have continued making improvements to auto glass designs and manufacturing processes.
