The Razor Blade Company

The Razor Blade Company was founded in 1916 as a family company in Santa Monica, California. Originally called Barber Razor Blade Co., the founders focused on selling to individual barber and beauty supply stores. The Barber brand represented the highest quality in double edge razor blades for shaving. Barbershops nationwide still buy our stainless steel super platinum razors and injector blades. In the 1970’s we began expanding our product line to include industrial razor blades, sold across a variety of industries. In 2007, after 3 generations in the same family, Barber Razor Blade Co. was transferred to new owners who have carried on the tradition of maintaining a family business built on integrity in service, pricing, and products. Now under the name The Razor Blade Company, we aim to satisfy customers across a broad array of industries. From our standard single edge razor blade, to custom contour blades and bakers’ lames, The Razor Blade Company has grown into a major hub.
