After serving his country in World War II, Everett Boldt began his work as a plumbing, sheet metal / heating installer & serviceman in the very same building that Boldts is located today. Everett began his business with a $2,000 loan and only 2 employees. In 1960, Everett added business partner, Perk Gregerson and the business was called Boldt & Gregerson Hardware until 1977, when the partnership separated and the company name was changed to its current Boldts Plumbing & Heating Inc. Everett, and his wife Eleanor, raised four children and celebrated nearly 65 years of marriage. Everett instilled a strong work ethic and sense of community to his family, as they remember most holidays and celebrations being interrupted by Everett going out on a service call to restore someones heat or fix a frozen pipe or plugged sewer.
