Spying in the name of 5G Internet: China will soon send 13000 Satellites in Space, this may threaten the whole World

China is preparing to carry out such a mission, which can threaten the whole world . In this ‘mega-constellation’ mission, he will launch about 13 thousand satellites in space, which will revolve around the entire Earth’s lower orbit.

A ‘mega-constellation’ is a network of thousands of satellites that cover the length and breadth of the Earth to provide Internet services. At present, American aerospace company SpaceX’s Starlink Internet service is the most developed in this mega-constellation, in which about 2 thousand satellites are working.

According to the Daily Mail report, the company to which China has entrusted this task, says that with this space mission, China aims to dominate the Earth’s lower orbit.

China claims – 5G network will be strengthened by these satellites
Here, China says that this mission is part of its 5G internet rollout. Apart from these satellites, people in rural areas will also be able to get good internet facilities. However, no information has been given about how and what will this satellite network work.

Chinese Network to be similar to SpaceX Starlink
It has been said in the report that this network of China will be like SpaceX Starlink. Like SpaceX, China will also send 12,992 satellites to the Earth’s lower orbit. Their range will be between 498.89 kilometers to 1144.24 kilometers from the surface of the Earth. With this, China will be able to provide its Internet services all over the world. In a way, China has planned this project to compete with the companies of Western countries.

According to the Daily Mail, this mission is a priority for China. For this, preparations are being made to build a ground based station. The companies associated with this project have decided to build a satellite internet industry system in Chongqing city of China.

Why is this Network a Matter of Concern for the World?
The Chinese government applied to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in 2020 for permission to send two Internet satellite constellations to lower orbit. But now there are reports that China has already given the contract for this project. This has increased the concern of the governments of Western countries.

Many countries have distanced themselves from China since the Corona epidemic. At the same time, China is making democracy-loving countries its adversaries by repeatedly claiming Taiwan. According to the report, China can use these satellites to spy on its enemy countries, such as America and India. It is being said that it may prove difficult for other countries to track China’s trickster activities from space.

Apart from this, China has less capacity to process data, so it can also prepare its ground stations in different countries of the world.

China had already sent Surveillance Satellites
Earlier, China has sent such satellites into space, which monitor the Earth. China claims that these satellites are used to monitor ocean disasters and marine environment and to conserve water. The government has not given any information about how these satellites work. That is why many countries suspect that China is spying on them through this project.
