World’s first Flying Car to debut in 2022?

Most Probably you’ve only heard in movies and dreams about it being a Flying Car. Although it had not become a reality till now, it seems that in 2022 this fiction is going to take the form of reality. Do you want to know about this car and who owns it and from where it got fly?

Soon the world’s first flying car is going to be seen in the world, in fact the world’s first flying car can travel at a speed of about 160 kilometers per hour as well as reach a height of 10000 feet. The car has now received approval from the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) of the United States. This means that soon all kinds of dreams and all the scenes seen in the movies are going to come true and take a tangible form.

A flying vehicle on which high hopes are placed is to use engines that enable it to take off and land vertically. To this end, Metro Skyway will use a patent belonging to Urban Aeronautics for a suitable rotor system built into the fuselage. This is what distinguishes this project from “another crazy idea” of some company … Urban Aeronautics has been designing and building flying machines for years, and their product called Cormorant went to the Israeli army. Not only does the Cormorant look like a flying car, it also works!

The Cormorant weighs 1500 kg, can accelerate to 185 km / h, stay in the air for an hour and carry up to 500 kg. It can cope with flying between buildings and power lines. The cost of such a gem is only … USD 14 million. It’s just that the vehicle was designed to be used for military purposes.

Of course, the path leading to flying cars to actually start flying overhead in large urban agglomerations is not easy. The technology itself takes a lot of work, but it’s just the beginning. There are also issues of not exceeding various standards that guarantee people’s safety and comfort (e.g. such a vehicle should not work too loudly), or legal issues that will allow such products to actually function in cities.

It is hard to believe, but all indications are that this direction may be the future, i.e. one day we will look out the window and see a lot of flying cars in the sky. Cities need solutions to relieve them. The constantly jammed streets are not made of rubber, and the number of cars is not diminishing. I am not saying that flying taxis are the only solution, but it certainly cannot be taken lightly. More and more companies take this idea very seriously and it seems that their determination does not diminish, on the contrary.

Uber hired a NASA veteran to help them with their flying car services project. Airbus also has a project called “Vahana”, which is expected to lead to a real flying car.
