Which Samsung Galaxy will be entitled to Android 13 (One UI 5.0)?

Samsung held its developer conference yesterday, and in it revealed all the details of One UI 5.0, its interface that is based on Android 13, which is the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system.
As such, this system inherits all the improvements announced by Google during the presentation of this version. Android 13 may have the status of a new major version, but it’s actually just a minor update from Android 12. It still retains the new customization options thanks to Material You (appeared with Android 12) and less visible but interesting new features. This release comes with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (LE), as well as new security and privacy features.
Samsung leverages Google’s customization efforts to provide the ability to add new clock styles, video wallpapers, or change the display of changes. It even becomes possible to make these changes directly from the lock screen. A novelty that recalls what Apple offers with iOS 16.
The two mobile operating systems Android and iOS have also inspired each other in recent years. Following Apple’s decision to offer widgets, Samsung has decided to review this feature that has been available on Android for years. One UI 5 lets you stack widgets to free up space on your home screen. Note that some smartphone models in One UI 4 already offer a smart widget feature that allows you to stack widgets.
Samsung also emphasizes “ways” to match your device “to your lifestyle”. The idea is to adapt the features according to time by proposing routines; or activating custom settings. The manufacturer explains, for example, that it is possible to activate an “Exercise” mode that automatically disables notifications; while “Sleep” mode will disable sounds and automatically enable dark mode. Again, there is an equivalent tool on iOS.
On the security side, Android 13 additions are available while Samsung offers a new dashboard that combines security and privacy. One UI 5 can also alert you if you are about to unintentionally share a photo that contains sensitive information (credit card number, ID card, passport, etc.).
But after all, which Samsung Galaxy will receive One UI 5.0 (Android 13)?
Already available in beta on select devices, One UI 5 based on Android 13 will begin rolling out “in the coming weeks”. Samsung doesn’t give an exact date for this to happen, but the stable version will be released by the end of October. The Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra are at the forefront of proving the new features of One UI 5.0.
