Apple announces the new iPad 10 (2022) with USB-C and 5G

Apple just announced the new iPad 10 (2022), that is, the new generation of its entry-level tablet. This is noticeable compared to the previous range, as there are differences on the outside and inside.

On the outside, the iPad 10 (2022) changes its design with flat edges and makes the Home button disappear. In addition, the tablet now has a 10.9-inch screen with a resolution of 2360×1640 pixels, where the previous generation had 10.2 inches. In turn, Touch ID remains relevant, but is now included in the Power button that is positioned at the top of the device.

Inside is well-known A14 chip, the same as we have in the iPhone 12. This chip guarantees 20% more performance at the processor level and a 10% improvement in graphics over the previous generation. According to Apple, this new iPad is “up to 5 times faster than the best-selling Android tablet”, despite the manufacturer not revealing the model in question.

Also, for the first time on an iPad, the front camera is now located on the edge in landscape mode. Regardless of whether users are making a FaceTime call or recording a video, they will always be looking directly into the camera. The 12MP ultra wide-angle front camera has a 122-degree field of view and supports the Centered Frame system, which automatically pans and zooms to keep users in view as they move. In addition, it is possible to shoot in 4K and have slow motion at 240 frames per second. In addition, the tablet has two microphones.
