DualSense Edge: The new PlayStation 5 controller already has a delivery date, but it will cost a small fortune

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the new wireless controller for PlayStation 5, the DualSense Edge, will be available worldwide from the 26th of January and will cost €239.99.

Replaceable stick modules will also be available on the same day, costing €24.99  . Both will be available for booking from October 25th at select retailers.

The DualSense Edge is the first high-performance, highly customizable controller developed by SIE. Designed to give gamers a gameplay edge thanks to the ability to create custom controls, the new DualSense Edge invites you to shape your gaming experience to your own style.

This new wireless controller for PS5 allows you to create a fully personalized experience thanks to the various hardware and software customization options, such as those mentioned below:Extremely customizable controls: players can customize the DualSense Edge by remapping or disable it to suit their tastes specific buttons and adjusting joystick sensitivity and deadzones (how far you need to move an analog stick for the game to recognize it) to fine-tune aiming. Additionally, each trigger can be customized with different options for movement distance and dead zones according to each player’s preferences.

In addition to the joystick covers and back button sets, this controller also includes a USB Type-C cable, which uses a connector to attach it to the controller so it doesn’t disconnect at the most inopportune moment. The included carrying case, which keeps the controller and its components neatly organized, allows players to charge the controller via a USB connection while it is stored.
