Low Priced OPPO A58 5G officially announced with Android 12
The Chinese manufacturer continues to renew its smartphone lineup, and yesterday announced the new OPPO A58 5G. The equipment was announced in China, and should reach the European market in the coming weeks.
This new OPPO A58 5G presents itself assuming the particular design that already characterizes other smartphones of the company. At the rear we find a camera module that integrates two separate circular bodies with some sensors inside. The colors of the body, as highlighted in the images that illustrate this article, are three while the screen has the always widespread a small notch very characteristic in low-end equipment.
Regarding its specifications, the smartphone will hit the market equipped with a MediaTek chip, the Dimensity 700, which gives you guarantees of good performance considering the price range. The chip will be supported by various RAM and storage configurations with the smartphone coming to market in 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB versions. All three variants can have a slot for internal storage expansion via a microSD.
The new smartphone has a 6.56-inch screen with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. Note that the panel used is an IPS LCD unit. Also noteworthy is the presence of a 5000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. As for the photographic sector, however, we find a dual rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.
The specs of the new OPPO A58 also include a side fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm jack and a USB-C port. It has IP54 certification that guarantees protection against water and dust.
On the software side, we have Android 12 customized with ColorOS 12.1. The smartphone supports connectivity.
Pricing and availability OPPO A58 5G
The new OPPO A58 will first make its debut in the Chinese market. Sales will start on the 10th of November with a list price of around 230 euros. This price refers to the top-of-the-range model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which is currently the only one that can be pre-ordered through the OPPO online store.
