Nothing releases First beta version of Android 13 for its Phone (1)

Samsung has set an example when it comes to making the Android 13 update available for its equipment. In fact, the company has surprised everyone, as dozens of models have already received the highly anticipated update, and South Korea is doing everything possible to make it available for all compatible equipment by the end of the year.
When Nothing Phone (1) was launched, Carl Pei was not very interested in Android 13 for his new smartphone, implying that users may have to wait until mid-2023 to receive this update. And as you can imagine, the criticisms came almost immediately.
Now, it seems that Nothing has heard these criticisms and released what is the first beta version of Android 13 for Phone (1), which demonstrates that we won’t have to wait too long for the update.
Nothing head Carl Pei shared a screenshot of the brand’s first device running its interface which is based on Google’s latest mobile operating system, Nothing OS 1.5.0. Users then asked if a beta program is planned. He hinted that it will arrive “soon”, without saying more. Shortly afterwards he reveals that a public beta program will also be available, without ever revealing when.

Meanwhile, several users are complaining about the delay in having Android 13 knowing that Nothing has only one smartphone to manage and no more, like other manufacturers.
Currently, there is no precise date for the arrival of the operating system with the Nothing OS 1.5.0 interface on Phone (1), either in beta or in the final version.
