Galaxy S20 FE 5G already has access to Android 13

Another week has passed, and the South Korean manufacturer continues to focus on updates. This time it is the Galaxy S20 FE 5G (model SM-G781B) to be presented with the update to Android 13. Samsung seems willing to fulfill the promise of having the vast majority of its smartphones updated by the end of the year.

For those who don’t know, this Galaxy S20 FE 5G is a smartphone that was launched in October 2020, and as with all South Korean equipment, Android 13 arrives in the form of One UI 5.0, as this is the interface of the South Korean manufacturer. The device’s firmware moves to build G781BXXU4GVK6.

In addition to Android 13 and One UI 5.0, the smartphone also receives the security patches from last October, that is, they are not the most recent patches made available by Google.

The firmware is being made available all over Europe. However, it is highly likely that in the next few days the same will happen in other markets all over the world. If you want, you can check manually on your device if the update is already available, for that you just need to go to Settings – Software update – Download and install. This is the third major update for this device, as it hit the market with Android 10, so it should be its last major update.
