FIFA+ app is now available for Android TV: just in time for the World Cup

Available since April 2022 for various devices, the FIFA+ application was initially launched for Android and iOS devices. More recently, the application was made available for Hisense Smart TVs, those with the VIDAA operating system.
Now, the FIFA+ application is officially available for Android TV and consequently for Google TV. According to the press release of this announcement, an agreement was reached with Google that allowed the exclusivity with VIDAA (Hisense) to come to an end.
For those who don’t know, this app features the in-house created FIFA World Cup daily programme, which provides a daily dose of highlights from each match day, featuring content creators from all countries participating in the tournament. In addition, the app’s features include live and original football with almost 40,000 games per year, interactive games and original documentaries, as well as replays of moments and full games.

So, if you have a device with Android TV, you can already install the application on it. This application offers almost the same experience as the Android application, however, it is adapted to work with a remote control, instead of touch controls.
Furthermore, the application is completely free, however, it is supported by advertising.
