Samsung plans to launch Galaxy S23 soon

Samsung seems to be busy preparing the launch of the Galaxy S23 series smartphones, scheduled to launch in early February, and obviously that also includes optimizing the new version of its custom interface, One UI 5.1.

According to the latest rumors, the Korean giant has already started testing the new version of the software internally, using smartphones from the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, in order to identify any relevant bugs to be resolved before the official launch.

The firmware installed on the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra to test One UI 5.1 is identified by the acronym S90xEXXU2CVL7 and could be officially released for these smartphones a few days after the Samsung Galaxy S23 series presentation event, which will have the honor to debut the new interface.

So far, the Korean giant’s developer team has tried to be quite reserved in relation to the news that will be implemented with One UI 5.1, but among them there should be more possibilities for customizing the lock screen and some minor software changes.
One UI 5.1 won’t be long on the Galaxy S22

Once Samsung starts the One UI 5.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S22 series, it will likely start bringing this new version of its custom interface to the other latest smartphones in the weeks immediately to follow. Deep down, the work never ends for the team of developers, but this is also one of the main reasons why Samsung smartphones are among the best sellers (or most desired): software support, incidentally, is undoubtedly one of the features most appreciated by users.
