Google accelerates the development of Fuchsia OS

It seems that lately Google has laid the foundations to allow more programmers to work with its Fuchsia operating system, the project has grown over time, with the aim of creating something new that is not based on Linux, as is the case with Android and ChromeOS.
Fuchsia has now become the software base for the Nest Hub smart displays, but Google appears to have more plans. Initially, following the announcement of Google I/O 2017, many thought that the new operating system would replace Android and/or ChomeOS but, over time, the project has suffered some slowdowns.
Incidentally, there are those who managed to install and use, even satisfactorily, Fuchsia on the first generation Google Pixelbook, and if initially the use of Linux and Android applications was possible through virtual machines, over time Google implemented Starnix, a method capable of running these same applications natively in Fuchsia.
Anyway, it looks like the Fuchsia team hosted an “SDK Bootcamp” event earlier this month, and judging by the name of the event, it looks like the company wanted to bring a new group of developers up to speed on using the Fuchsia SDK, with the aim to create native applications for the platform. However, this does not necessarily mean a large-scale release of the operating system soon, but it is certainly an interesting sign, as programmers, and employees of Google partner companies, may also have participated in the event.
Fuchsia prepares to gain more prominence on Google
Nothing is certain at the moment, even considering that in the past several Google employees have spoken about Fuchsia, emphasizing how it was not intended to replace Android and ChromeOS, and how it was initially not thought of as an analogue product, but rather as a platform on which build products, as well as “focused on consumer products and the problems faced by consumers and programmers for consumers”.
