Microsoft holds conference to talk about Bing with ChatGPT

Microsoft will hold a conference today where it should present the integration of ChatGPT with its search engine, Bing. The event will start when it is 18:00 in Portugal.
The invitation says company boss Satya Nadella will “share progress on some exciting projects”, hinting at a series of big announcements. This invitation comes just days after Microsoft extended its partnership with OpenAI into a $10 billion deal that will make it OpenAI’s exclusive cloud partner. Microsoft’s cloud services will power all of OpenAI’s workloads, be it product, API or research.
This conference announcement comes just minutes after the presentation by Bard, the ChatGPT competitor announced by Google. The ad is anything but harmless, the company wants to talk about it and thus “overshadow” the presentation of Google’s service.
On the other hand, users briefly glimpsed the integration of ChatGPT in Bing. A new section with a chatbot appeared to get answers from the Microsoft search engine. The company simply calls it “the new Bing”, which will provide “complete answers” to real questions.

Also note that the conference will take place 24 hours before the Google conference which is planned to be held in Paris.
