Huawei announces the new MatePad SE 10.4: A new mid-range Tablet

The Chinese manufacturer Huawei announced a new mid-range tablet, which it named MatePad SE 10.4, which, as its name implies, has a 10.4-inch screen. This MatePad SE 10.4 screen is actually an IPS panel with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels. It is equipped with a Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 680, which is accompanied by 4 or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a MicroSD card of up to 1TB.

For photography, we have a rear sensor with 5MP, with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture, and a front sensor, also with 5MP and f/2.2 aperture. Its battery has 7700mAh and it has not been specified whether it has some kind of fast charging through its USB-C port.

The tablet has 4 speakers, a 3.5mm port for the headphones and leaves the factory running HarmonyOS 3.

Huawei’s new tablet will be available in 3 colors (ie Dark Blue, Obsidian Black and Island Blue) and its debut is scheduled for February 16 in China, where pre-orders have already opened.

The version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of integrated memory is being sold for 1,299 yuan (about 180 euros), while the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of integrated memory is sold for 1,399 yuan (about 190 euros).

We await official information from the manufacturer to know if and when the Huawei MatePad SE 10.4 will reach European markets.
