PlayStation VR 2 : Future of Gaming

The question of whether virtual reality (VR) is the future of gaming has been debated for some time, but the release of PlayStation VR2 has reignited the conversation. Despite the success of the original PlayStation VR, it was criticized for its discomfort and lack of exclusive must-play games. However, the PS VR2 offers a slicker, lighter, and more comfortable experience with technical performance that is more impressive than cheaper options.
Games journalist Jordan Middler from Videogames Chronicle praises the hardware of the PS VR2, but is concerned about the lack of unique experiences available for the device. He points out that Horizon: Call of the Mountain is the only significant exclusive title at launch, and questions why there are not more big Sony titles available. Although Middler is impressed with Horizon: Call of the Mountain, he acknowledges that there needs to be more like it on the platform.
For now, Sony is relying on the Horizon series VR tie-in to do a lot of the heavy lifting. Despite the success of the original PlayStation VR, the lack of unique experiences available for the PS VR2 is still a problem that needs to be addressed.
