Huawei MateBook D 16 2024 and HUAWEI FreeClip Review

The Huawei MateBook D16 2024 is a lightweight laptop with fast, fluid performance. It has a state-of-the-art processor, a 16-inch screen and a 70W battery, ideal for both working and studying.
In turn, the HUAWEI FreeClip is the brand’s first open-ear True Wireless Stereo (TWS) audio device and stands out for its innovative format, which highlights the combination of style and technology. Similar to ear cuffs, they are light, resistant and comfortable, equipped with intelligent ear recognition technology.
HUAWEI’s new MateBook was designed to boost smart office productivity. It is equipped with a powerful 13th Generation Intel Core i9 processor, Performance Mode, Super Turbo and Dual Shark Fin Fan technology, which improves efficiency and prevents blockages. These features, combined with a 70Wh battery, allow the user to perform several tasks simultaneously, such as programming, editing videos and illustrating, at any time and anywhere.

It has a large 16-inch screen and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 90%, has a metal body that is just 17mm thick, weighs 1.68 kg, and is distinguished by its 180° hinge, which makes it flexible and easy to transport. Regarding the keyboard (Spanish), it has a key travel mechanism that is just 1.5mm high and offers a soft click.
The new Huawei FreeClip perfectly reflects the ‘Fashion at the Edge’ concept recently adopted by Huawei for the wearables segment. They are the ideal device for users looking for irreverent, comfortable headphones that allow them to be in harmony with the surrounding environment, without compromising sound quality. Its shape adapts perfectly to the different curvatures of the human ear and reduces tension on the user’s ear cartilage, thanks to the adaptive sensor that recognizes and adjusts the strength of the fixing mechanism. They are equipped with Smart Wear Detection technology, which detects and instantly adapts the headset to the left or right ear.
Available in black, each earbud weighs just 5.6g. They guarantee up to 8 hours of music playback and 5 hours of calls. Furthermore, when using the charging case, they offer up to 36 hours of autonomy. They have an IP54 rating for water and sweat resistance and are compatible with Huawei’s SuperDevice functionality, which allows simultaneous connection to two devices.
