After Covid , Mysterious Disease X concerns WHO Scientists

The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that it is updating the list of some bacteria, viruses and microorganisms that may pose a risk of serious diseases or Pandemics in the future. A team of 300 scientists from all over the world is also being formed for this project.

Many pathogens are included in the list
According to WHO, many dangerous pathogens are being included in the list being published since 2017. It also has the names of Coronavirus, Ebola virus, Marburg virus, Lassa fever, Nipah virus, Zika virus and Disease X. Pathogens are organisms that cause diseases. These can make any tree, plant, animal or microorganism sick. The WHO team will target such pathogens, which can prove to be very dangerous for humans in the future.

Disease X will be monitored
The WHO team is going to keep a special eye on Disease X. At present it is a completely unknown disease. Scientists say that this disease will prove to be extremely dangerous for humans. It can also take the form of an epidemic. Whatever virus or bacteria it is from, its infection will spread faster than Covid. That’s why it is important to detect it on time.

Research will help in treatment
After updating the list, WHO scientists will start finding successful cures for these diseases. Knowing the danger of bacteria and viruses ahead of time, tests and vaccines can be made to avoid them. Pathogens that have the ability to spread infection rapidly, their entire family will be targeted.
