Android 13 will be available on several Samsung phones next Monday
Samsung announces the arrival of Android 13 (One UI 5.0)
The Italian division of Samsung has confirmed the imminent arrival of Android 13 for some of its devices, which, as always, will arrive with its own interface, One UI 5.0, and for its main tops.
In addition to revealing the start date of the distribution, Samsung shared what will be the very full-bodied changelog of the new system update, full of news both from a graphical and functional point of view, which add the customizations of the South Korean manufacturer to the version latest Android operating system.
As expected, Samsung announced in a press release the imminent availability of the new operating system update for Android 13. The official announcement of the Italian division comes a few hours after another official announcement, this time of the South Korean division, which informed that the stable version of the operating system was starting to come to equipment.
The update will be available from next Monday, October 24, 2022 and will reach, in this first phase, all the latest ranges of the South Korean manufacturer:
- Samsung Galaxy S22
- Samsung Galaxy S22+
- Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4
- Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
The changelog accompanying the availability of the update to One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 for Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the update (version S908BXXU2BVJA), at 2854.03 MB includes the latest security patch i.e. the 1st of October 2022.
Based on the previous information and the progress of the beta testing program on the other devices, there is a good chance that the One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 could arrive, by the end of 2022, also on the high-end smartphones of the southern manufacturer. Korean in 2021, namely the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G.
In addition to the top of the range of the last two generations, even the mid-range Galaxy A53 5G will be able to be updated before the end of the year.
