Apple iPhone 18 Pro Event: Date and Time

Apple’s special event takes place on Wednesday, September 9, under the tagline “Surprise and shine.” As usual, the wording offers plenty of room for speculation without revealing exactly what Apple has planned.

Some observers believe the event artwork could be pointing toward a sky-blue finish for the iPhone 18 Pro. There has also been speculation that Apple may introduce a mechanical camera aperture, potentially limited to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

The keynote is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, which translates to 1 p.m. Eastern Time and 6 p.m. in the U.K. The timing follows Apple’s familiar schedule for its major product announcements.

How to Watch Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro Announcement

There are several options for watching the presentation. Unlike a traditional live product launch, this keynote has been pre-recorded, although members of the press will be able to gather at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park to watch the broadcast.

The simplest option is Apple’s dedicated events webpage. The keynote is already listed there, along with an option to add the event to your calendar. Apple also confirms that the presentation will be available through its website and the Apple TV app.

The Apple TV app can be accessed through devices such as an Apple TV, iPhone, iPad and Mac, as well as a selection of compatible smart televisions. You do not need an Apple TV+ subscription to view the keynote. The event should appear in the app before the scheduled start time.

Watch the iPhone 18 Pro Event on YouTube

Another straightforward way to watch is through Apple’s official YouTube channel. The company has already posted the event page, complete with a countdown showing how much time remains before the presentation begins.

YouTube also automatically displays the expected start time according to your location, making it easy to work out when you need to tune in.

A number of third-party websites may also carry the presentation. These streams can be useful if you want journalists or technology commentators to provide live reactions alongside the announcements. However, viewers who prefer to experience Apple’s presentation without outside commentary may want to stick with Apple’s own website, Apple TV app or YouTube channel.

With the event now just hours away, the wait is nearly over. We’ll soon find out which of the rumored iPhone 18 Pro features-and which other new Apple products-actually make it onto the stage.
