Apple recognizes bug in New iPhone 14 and make recommendations

Apple was once trustworthy than it has been in recent years. Over time, the company  has lost something that was once it’s image: Reliability.

The company’s new range of smartphones, the iPhone 14, has in fact suffered from several more or less serious bugs. And if some of them have already been resolved with iOS 16 updates, the last one that was recognized by the company still needs to be resolved, and very urgently.

According to sources, it seems that Apple is aware of a new problem that affects some users of the new iPhone 14, it is a bug that involves the display of an error message on the user’s device: ” SIM not supported”. In some cases, after displaying the error message, the iPhone affected by the bug simply freezes completely.

Apple is aware of the issue and, despite declaring that it is not a hardware issue, it is investigating the causes of the issue and then finding a software solution to be released with an upcoming update.

The company also invites users who see the message to wait a few minutes, as in some cases it seems that the bug does not cause the above problems. If, on the other hand, the device freezes, it is not recommended to perform a reset (probably because in the current state of things it would not solve the problem), but users are invited to go to an Apple Store or an authorized service center, in order to submit a request for technical assistance to resolve the issue in question.

Unfortunately, considering that the company is still investigating the issue, users affected by the bug may have to wait a while before being able to use their iPhone optimally. If the work proceeds willingly, it cannot be ruled out that a fix could already be released at the end of the month, with the iOS 16.1 update.
