The PlayStation 5 update 7.00 arrived with the ability to update the DualSense without having to physically connect it to the console, that is, it becomes possible to update it wirelessly. After successfully installing the new PS5 update, users can accept the request to update their controller without the need to connect it with a USB-C cable.

Wireless device update for DualSense wireless controller: Now you can update the device software of DualSense wireless controller with a wireless connection.
As long as the controller has enough power, it can update wirelessly, eliminating the need for users to go to the system and turn it on. If like me, you regularly skip the update screen because you simply don’t want to get up and try to find the cable, now you have no excuses for not updating.
