Galaxy S23 will receive One UI 6.0 (Android 14) sooner than expected

Given the sluggish pace of Android 14’s development, it’s understandable that Samsung users are eagerly anticipating its new features. The good news is that they won’t have to wait too long. Recent information from SamMobile reveals that South Korea will soon roll out the One UI 6.0 update, based on Android 14, to Galaxy S23 series users.

According to the latest updates, Samsung will initiate the One UI 6.0 beta program in the third week of July, with the Galaxy S23 being the first device to receive the update, as expected. Subsequently, other devices will also receive the update. Samsung aims to complete the rollout by the end of this year, ensuring a stable update. Given the ample timeframe between July and December, and Samsung’s reputation for swift update rollouts, users can have confidence in this timeline. Additionally, Galaxy S22 devices can also anticipate receiving the latest update.

The chosen release date of the third week of July aligns with Samsung’s anticipated announcement of their foldable phones during the same period. It is highly likely that the company will unveil the new update on the same date. As a result, Galaxy S23 users can expect to receive the Android 14 update, accompanied by One UI 6.0, sooner rather than later.

One UI 6.0 Beta Version for Galaxy S23 Coming in July

The final word is that you shouldn’t expect big visual changes with this new update. However, it will be more refined overall, so expect a lot of small changes here and there. Your overall experience with Galaxy S23 is about to become better than with One UI 5.1.
