Google gives preview of its New Pixel Tablet
In addition to announcing the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel Watch, Google has given a new preview of its upcoming Pixel Tablet. There is still no price or the full list of its technical specifications, unlike smartphones and the connected watch.
The Pixel Tablet will be entitled to the Tensor G2 chip, that is, the same chip that equips the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. It should be powerful enough for everyday tasks, a little gaming, and heavy streaming. Unsurprisingly, the tablet runs Android with the new Android 13 layout for tablets. Users will have Material You color options to make it completely their own and other customizations. In addition, the product has a ceramic coating to give it a “premium” feel.
Google also announced a docker system that will come with the tablet. When you’re not using your Pixel Tablet, you can dock it so that it always charges if you want to pick it up and consume content. When docked, it behaves like a Google Home-like device, with swiping photos and smart home controls etc.
It attaches to that dock using magnets that have been adjusted so that it can be easily placed in a docking station, and is easy to grip to move it.
