Google Messages Web Version Unveils Refreshed Design and Exciting New Features

The search giant is introducing a refreshed look for Google Messages, with a prominent display of the company logo
Although the famous four-color G did not previously appear on the app’s screen, we can see that it is now placed in the top left corner. Directly to your right appears the mention “Messages”, something that did not appear before. The menu itself has been moved to the right. Now you must tap on the three points arranged vertically to open the different options related to managing your account, but also your messages (“Archived” and “Spam and blocked conversations”).
Frequent users of the mobile app will notice that the options offered on the web are fewer than on Android. Google Messages also brings another aesthetic improvement to the web version of the app: animated emojis.
All emoticons now move one way or another for a few seconds on Android and Desktop versions.
Unfortunately, conversations with people with iPhones will remain static, with Apple continuing to refuse to adopt the RCS technology that would facilitate communication between these two ecosystems. Just like the PC or Mac version of WhatsApp, the desktop version of Google Messages is very useful when you are working on your PC and don’t want to take your fingers off the keyboard to check your smartphone.
