Lenovo Introduces Affordable Gaming Brand LOQ with Laptops and Desktops

Lenovo has introduced a new gaming brand, LOQ, which covers both laptops and desktop computers. The LOQ range offers more affordable price points compared to Lenovo’s renowned Legion range. The first set of LOQ laptops were priced at £1000, making them relatively cheaper than Lenovo Legion laptops which can approach £3000. The LOQ range will not be limited to low-powered specs, with the new LOQ 15IRH8 having a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700H processor, although the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 only offers an entry-level gaming performance.

However, high-end features such as Mini LED screens, 4K resolution, and lightweight designs may not be present in LOQ laptops. LOQ laptops will have the new logo emblazoned on the lid to differentiate them from their Legion cousins.

In addition, Lenovo has unveiled the LOQ Tower desktop gaming PC, starting at just €799. According to Lenovo’s vice president, Jun Ouyang, the LOQ range aims to eliminate barriers to entry for gamers, providing them with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the gaming world and enjoy the thrill of connection and fun. Although the LOQ range may lack high-end features, it offers an affordable price point for those who do not require such features.
