Microsoft Announces a Special Edition Xbox Series X “Wakanda Forever”

Wakanda Forever, the second superhero film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Black Panther, is just days away from its premiere, and it’s one of the great Marvel movies for this holiday season. And to celebrate the film’s release, Microsoft has announced a very special edition of the Xbox Series X.

It’s certainly not the first time a limited-edition Xbox has been released dedicated to this or that franchise of games, movies, and so on, but this time Microsoft seems to have gone beyond a simple custom paint job on the console and controller: it’s which this time also announced supports for the commands that resemble the claws of the Black Panther. If positioned in front of the console, these supports are reminiscent of the gesture, and the symbolic motto, of the nation of Wakanda, precisely “Wakanda Forever”.

The offer is completed by a replica of the Kimoyo bracelet that is an integral part of the Black Panther costume. The Xbox Series X will be produced in just five copies, which will be delivered to the largest number of lucky participants in the small competition set up for the occasion. Nothing difficult, let’s clarify: just remember a sequence – and provide some important personal data like email and phone number.

Users from all markets where Xbox is regularly sold can participate, except Russia, and you need to be over 18 years old. Winners will be announced on November 11th.

Microsoft has also made available a series of movie-inspired wallpapers suitable for all types of devices, from TVs to smartphones, which can be downloaded from this link.

In addition, Microsoft has launched an initiative to attract newbies and younger users to become interested in computing and programming – a kind of high-level object-oriented language for creating your own games and projects of that kind.
