Microsoft announces Copilot Pro: Paid version of AI tool

Microsoft has introduced Copilot Pro, an enhanced subscription offering advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. Priced at $20 per month, Copilot Pro grants users access to AI features within Office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote, compatible with Windows, macOS, and iPad (currently in preview, with English as the supported language and requiring an active Microsoft 365 subscription).

This subscription provides the added benefit of direct input into the desired application and access to supplementary resources, such as an email summary. Furthermore, Copilot Pro includes priority access to the latest models, starting with OpenAI’s GPT-4 Turbo, ensuring swift performance during peak usage periods and enabling users to switch between models for an optimized experience.

In the realm of imaging, Copilot Pro offers additional advantages via Designed, delivering 100 boosters per day for accelerated generation, more detailed results, and support for landscape mode.

A notable feature in the pipeline for Copilot Pro is the ability to create personalized chatbots, tailored to individual needs or themes, which will soon be accessible through Copilot GPT Builder. Microsoft has initiated a GPT Copilot focus on specific objectives, such as cooking, travel, physical activity, and more.
