Microsoft releases Windows 365 app

Microsoft released the Windows 365 application to all users yesterday. This is valid for all those who use the latest version of their operating system, Windows 11, as well as those who are still on the previous version, Windows 10.

This application allows users to access Microsoft’s cloud PC servers and, of course, requires a Windows 365 subscription to use. Apparently, Microsoft will include the app with all new Windows 11 installations.
As explained by Microsoft, Windows 365 offers:

  • Using a Cloud PC in a window or in fullscreen
  • Reliable, high-performance experiences for Microsoft Teams, Media Redirection, and other Microsoft 365 apps
  • User actions to restart, reset, restore, rename and troubleshoot directly in Windows
  • A seamless single sign-on experience
  • Support for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) from Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Microsoft Authenticator for secure access to cloud PCs
  • Accessibility through screen readers and keyboard shortcuts

Anyone wanting to try it out can find it right away in the Microsoft Store.  Microsoft also informs that it has plans to update it in the coming months with the introduction of new features.
