Mozilla Releases Firefox 106.0.2 with More Bug Fixes
Firefox 106.0.2 is the third Firefox update since last October 19th, that is, in a week. After having released version 106 on the 19th, version 106.0.1 was released on the 23rd of this month and now 3 more days and version 106.0.2 arrives.
However, this is not a bad sign, as it demonstrates Mozilla’s concern in finding solutions to its browser problems, and therefore, it is not surprising that this Firefox 106.0.2 arrives only to solve some bugs.
Among other things, the improvements in this new version are given to the new PDF editor, which had problems with PDF forms. Problems with the Proxmox web interface, problems with the Windows Store version and with the notifications settings were also eliminated. The update is now available on the website.
Here is the Firefox 106.0.2 Changelog
- Fixes missing content in some PDF forms (bug 1794351).
- Fix column width for Notification subpanel in Settings (bug 1793558).
- Fixes an accessibility-enabled browser freeze on some websites such as Proxmox Web UI (bug 1793748).
- Fix page reload not working with Firefox View and not updating synced data (bug 1792680 and bug 1794474).
Fix browser not opening if installed through Windows Store (Bug 1796391).
