Notepad++ has been updated and is now available for all Windows users

Notepad++ is a free text editor best known by users of equipment with the Windows operating system. This editor offers many editing functions, with it it is even possible to edit the source code.
Notepad++ supports different character sets, and syntax highlighting, for many programming languages, but it has also been recommended as a simple text editor for many years.
Now, the tool reaches version 8.5 and is already available for download. It features a new Explorer context menu item “Edit with Notepad++”, which was added to Windows 11 (via the installer, but it’s something that doesn’t work when using the portable version).
