Postparty: The new Epic Games app available for Android and iOS
The more online games develop, the stronger the link between the world of video games and social media becomes. In the age of streaming and content creators, many gamers want to experience their internet glory moment. Unfortunately for those who want to start, the process is not always easy. Only PC gamers enjoy greater freedom in creating videos, but it requires a lot of software that often takes practice and a lot of time.
Epic Games understood the importance of sharing gameplay extracts for players and decided to launch Postparty, an application dedicated to this function, which facilitates the whole process. To foster community creativity and make editing clips easier, whether you want to show them off to teammates or the world, Postparty aims to make every tedious step easier. The features of this new platform are exclusive to Fortnite and Rocket League.
Both hugely popular competitive games lend themselves particularly well to short formats for TikTok or Instagram Reels, for example. In addition to grouping all your recordings regardless of the platform you play on, the application lets you edit a clip directly from its interface.
To access the video clips, simply link an Epic account to Postparty. Then all you need to do is press the usual video capture button on your controller or PC. The last 30 seconds are recorded but will go directly to your Postparty library.
In addition to making content creation more accessible for everyone, using the app grants some rewards in Fortnite and Rocket League, such as Battle Royale cosmetics and an in-game title that mixes football and cars. Postparty is now available for Android and iOS.
