Skeletons of Hybrid Animal from Bronze Age found in South Caucasus and Anatolia
Skeletons of the first hybrid animal found in the world are 5500 years old; Scientists are getting surprised
Recently, when the DNA of an animal’s skeleton was tested, scientists were surprised. This skeleton turned out to be a 5500-year-old hybrid animal, but this technology has only been discovered in the modern era. So did the ancient people also know about this technology?
The surprising thing is that 5500 years ago, the technology of creating hybrid animals was also present, scientists are surprised by this.
According to the report , this research has been published in Science Advances. In this, the skeleton of a horse-like animal has been found in the South Caucasus and Anatolia, which is of the Bronze Age.
Scientists were surprised to see the skeleton
In this regard, genomicist Eva Maria Geigel at the Institut Jacques Monod in Paris told that the animal whose skeleton has been found in the research is neither a donkey nor a Syrian wild ass. It is not even the complete skeleton of a horse, but it is like a horse. She was surprised that there is something different in it, but what is different, it could not be known.
A combination of textual, iconographic and archaeozoological data suggests that by the middle to the third millennium BC, domestic horses were brought from neighboring mountainous regions to Mesopotamia (modern Iraq and northeastern Syria) where they were often referred to as “the donkeys of the mountains”. .
