Tips on How to Create and Configure Multiple Calendars in Google Calendar

Google Calendar is a popular tool for organizing your daily schedule, but what if your life is too busy for just one calendar? Fortunately, Google makes it easy to add multiple calendars to your account. This allows you to configure each calendar differently, such as setting one for pop-up notifications and another for email notifications.

To create a new Google Calendar, first, you need a working Google account and a web browser. Then, go to calendar.google.com and log in to your account. Next, click the gear icon for Google Calendar near the upper right corner of the window and select “Settings” from the popup menu. In the left sidebar, click to expand the “Add Calendar” entry and then click “Create New Calendar.” In the resulting window, give the new calendar a name, description, and select the required time zone, and click “Create Calendar.”

Once the new calendar is created, you can configure it by clicking to expand the entry in the left sidebar. There are plenty of configuration options available for your new calendar, such as setting notifications or sharing it with others for easy collaboration.

When creating a new event in Google Calendar, make sure to select the appropriate calendar for that event so you can enjoy an improved organization and the specific configurations for that calendar. Using multiple calendars in Google has been a real time saver for many people, helping to prevent them from missing out on important events specific to a client or business. Give it a try and see how it can help you stay organized.
