After a long wait, Yamaha introduced its electric scooter. The name of this electric scooter is Neo. What makes it special is that it was launched with two batteries. The single battery gives a range of 37.5 km. The scooter offers a range of 68 km from the double battery pack. The scooter will also get many advanced features, including smartphone connectivity. The price of this Yamaha electric scooter is 3005 euros. This is around 300 euros cheaper than the price of the Yamaha NMax 125. Sales in the European market will start in May.
Yamaha Neo E-Scooter Features & Specs
The Neo E-Scooter will have two headlights. Rubber strips were installed on the sides of its body. This molded part protects the scooter from small scratches.
The company offers a DC hub motor in it. This motor produces 2.06 kW of power in standard mode and has a top speed of 40 km/h. In Eco mode, it reaches a top speed of 35 km/h and generates an output of 1.58 kW. With the help of an optional battery pack, its range can be increased to 68 km. The weight of the lithium battery inside the scooter is 8 kg. This is a removable battery. At the home charging station, it takes around 8 hours for the battery to be fully charged. It has an LCD instrument cluster with smartphone compatibility. Along with battery status, it also gives information about route tracking, calls and messages. The scooter has 13 inch alloy wheels. It gets KYB telescopic forks and single rear shock absorber.
