Foreign Object Debris Prevention

When any damage to aircraft or people at airport is cause by any object which is located at unsuitable place, then this comes under FOD. For controlling such type of many foreign object debris prevention programs and tools have been introduced. Every FOD has its own way of prevention like runway FOD relates to the objects fallen from aircrafts, any broken equipment or birds, Taxiway FOD relates to the presence of small objects, and Maintenance FOD relates to tools, small parts or materials.
