How our skin suffers by alergy

Allergies are an unfortunately common condition that affects not just your nose but also the rest of your body, including your skin. Allergens in the air trigger allergy symptoms like sneezing and watery eyes, but they also prompt your immune system to produce immunoglobulin E (IgE). This IgE travels through the bloodstream and attaches to mast cells that line body tissue, including skin cells. The attached IgE prompts the mast cells to release histamines, chemical compounds that cause inflammation throughout the body and can cause severe allergic reactions in some people.
