Amazon Ring Engineer Warns “Shut It Down Immediately”

Amazon Ring software engineer says that “the privacy issues are not fixable with regulation and there is no balance that can be struck. Ring should be shut down immediately and not brought back.” Amazon and Ring have not responded to requests for comment. Ring’s employees have also blown the whistle as well as abused access to customer’s feeds.
