WhatsApp Feature Update: WhatsApp Web Account will not Open without PIN

WhatsApp is about to bring a new feature. This feature will be for desktop users only. Which has been brought for the security of WhatsApp desktop. Its name will be two step verification feature. Due to this feature, you will be able to avoid unauthorized login. Although this feature will be optional.

6 digit code will be available on mobile
According to the report, you will be able to enable or disable this feature as per your wish. With this feature, if you login to WhatsApp through a new smartphone, the app will send a 6-digit code to your registered mobile number. Currently, for desktop login, all you have to do is scan a QR code on WhatsApp Web and your account is logged in. It does not require any type of pin.

WhatsApp chat access on desktop will be safe
According to a report by WABetaInfo, now a PIN will also be required to better and secure access to WhatsApp chats on desktop. WABetaInfo says that WhatsApp wants to make it easier to manage two-step verification everywhere, so they are working on introducing this feature on web/desktop in an upcoming update. Although it is currently being tested, which can soon be released for WhatsApp web and desktop users.

What happens if the phone is lost?
The report states that web/desktop users will be able to enable or disable two-step verification. This becomes essential when you lose your phone and can’t remember your PIN. You can restore the PIN through a reset link.
