YouTube rolls out a New Feature for Live Streaming

New feature for YouTube creators: A special ring will appear on the profile of the channel on which the content is going live; know its work

YouTube has rolled out a new feature for live streaming. With the help of this feature, users will be able to easily find the live streaming channel. For this, YouTube has added a ‘Live’ indicator like Tik-Tok. That is, whenever a user does live streaming on YouTube, then ‘Live’ will appear inside a ring in the icon of his channel’s profile.

YouTube’s Chief Product Officer Neil Mohan has announced this feature on social media. He wrote, “We’ve made it easier for users to find live streaming on YouTube. We’re rolling out the Live Ring feature on mobile! A ring will appear around the channel during @YouTubeCreators’ live streaming. Click on it By doing this you will be able to access the livestream.”

Smartphone users will get the feature first
The facility of the new feature is being given on mobile. That is, smartphone users will already be able to see this new ‘live’ ring feature or they will start seeing it in the coming days. This will help users and subscribers to find out that the channel is currently live. They will also be able to join the live stream easily.

YouTube also designed a new video player
YouTube has introduced a new video player design for new and old users. Both the app and website users will get the benefit of this. Full screen mode will be available in this player. There will be a quick toggle button with options like Like, Dislike, Open Comment, Add Video to Playlist, Share and More Videos.
